Pacific Coast Hwy: Olympic National Park, WA ...


The Olympic National Park is located in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula ... the park was established in 1939 and covers aprox. 1 million acres.

The million park features several major regions/ecosystems; (1.) Pacific coastline, (2.) Alpine areas, (3.) Glaciers, (4.) Temperate Rainforest (5.) Drier east side forests.

Because of it's vast size and it's diversity that covers several distinct regions there is literally hundreds of things to do and see in the Olympic National Park... only a long vacation would allow a visitor to see most of the things the park has to offer... however, some of the more popular destinations in the park include;
