The city of Port Townsend WA is located in Jefferson County in the northeast tip
of the Olympic Peninsula aprox. 40 miles northwest of Seattle... the city has a population of aprox.
9,355 people.Port Townsend is one of the oldest towns in Washington state
being first plotted in 1852.
Port Townsend is known for it's natural beauty and it's Victorian
architecture found in the old buildings around the city.
Starting in the 1960's, a number of older buildings were restored and
converted to galleries, restaurants, Bed & Breakfasts, while retaining some of
the turn-of-the-century character... Port Townsend's Historic District is a U.S.
National Historic Landmark District.
While in the area visit the

area's history.
