Pacific Coast Highway: Raymond, WA ...

The city of Raymond is located in Pacific County, WA state... the city has a population of aprox. 2,975 people.

Raymond was incorporated in 1907... Raymond was named after L.V. Raymond who was the first postmaster in the town.

Raymonds' economy is largely based on forestry & fishing, together with a limited amount of tourism.

There's a nice walking trail between Raymond and South Bend known as the "Willapa Hills Trail" that follows the old railroad right-of-way along the Willapa River.

While in the area visit the Willapa Seaport Museum at 310 Alder St in Raymond to learn more about the area's history.
